Abstract
The documentary research work on the development of serie in early education children is an academic document that was prepared in order to analyze the contributions offered by research on the development of serie in early education children (2015 – 2024). The methodology used was based on the qualitative and documentary-type approach because it was based on the information collected and rescued from 20 bachelor's, second specialty and master's theses from National University repositories with full access to virtual mode. Likewise, two axes of analysis were proposed, achievements when applying didactic strategies for the development of serie and theories in relation to serie. In conclusion, research carried out in the last 10 years has shown that strategies based on games and the use of concrete materials are very effective for the development of serie in children, highlighting the use of Montessori materials and the CLASEMAT Program, which achieved high effectiveness rates. Regarding theories, most of the studies were based on Piaget's cognitive theory, complemented by approaches such as absorption theory and social learning, underlining the importance of active interaction with the environment to develop the ability to order and classify objects.
