Abstract
The present study entitled fine motor skills in early education, aims to carry out documentary work on strategies and instruments to measure fine motor skills in early education, at the national and international level, with special attention to Latin American countries, taking into account the time horizon of the last ten years (2014-2023). The work corresponds to the qualitative approach, being a descriptive work since an exhaustive search was carried out, where thirteen documents were analyzed and organized with the help of instruments such as bibliographic files and hermeneutic matrix for data collection. The same was carried out with information collected from the different indexed information platforms and the institutional repositories of the different universities in Latin America. In conclusion, we can state that the authors of the analyzed research seek to carry out a variety of didactic strategies to use through methodological sequences within the classroom, enhancing them with the use of instruments to carry out an adequate measurement of fine motor skills in infants. Likewise, all the studies reviewed conclude that the graphoplastic technique is the most recommended to develop fine motor skills in infants.
