Abstract

The documentary work on fine motor skills in children from the II cycle of regular basic education (2015-2023) is an academic document that was prepared in order to analyze the contributions offered by research on motor skills in the years (2015-2023). 2024). The methodology used was based on the qualitative and documentary-type approach because it was based on the information collected and rescued from 20 master's, bachelor's and second specialty theses from the repository of National Licensed Universities with full virtual access. Likewise, two axes of analysis were proposed: teaching strategies for the development of fine motor skills and instruments for measuring fine motor skills. Thus, two instruments were also used, stories as a bibliographic matrix and a hermeneutic matrix. In conclusion, the analysis of teaching strategies for the development of fine motor skills identified graphoplastic techniques as the most effective. Regarding the measurement instruments, although the checklist is used, the observation sheet is more appropriate to objectively and gradually evaluate the level of development of the children, allowing a more detailed approach aligned with the research objectives.
