Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre la participación de los padres de familia y el logro de habilidades sociales en los niños de 4 años de la I.E. N°150 “María Emperatriz Durango Serván”- Moyobamba. La metodología utilizada fue de tipo cuantitativa, de nivel descriptivo y de diseño descriptivo-correlacional. Se tomó como muestra a 25 niños(as) y a sus padres. Se utilizó la lista de chequeo y cuestionario para medir el nivel de participación de los padres de familia y las habilidades sociales. Los resultados muestran que el nivel de participación de los padres de familia es alto, ya que el 76% de ellos se muestran en ese nivel y tan solo un 1 en nivel bajo y 5 padres que representan el 20% en el nivel medio, lo que significa que los padres se involucran en una o varias actividades relacionadas con la escuela, dedican tiempo para ayudar con las tareas, animar con sus logros y entre otros. El nivel de habilidades sociales en los niños es regular, ya que el 76% está en un nivel medio, el 20% en nivel bajo y solo un niño en nivel alto, lo que significa que la gran mayoría tienen dificultades para relacionarse socialmente de manea positivas y poder enfrentarse al entorno de demandas sociales. Con un 95% de fiabilidad y un 5% de significancia, p= 0.000, que el nivel de participación de padres de familia se relaciona con el nivel de logro de habilidades sociales. Además, notamos que r= 0. 804 lo que significa que existe correlación positiva alta entre las variables.
The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between parents' participation and the achievement of social skills in 4-year-old children of the I.E. N°150 “María Emperatriz Durango Serván” - Moyobamba. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive and descriptive-correlational design. A sample of 25 children and their parents was taken as a sample. A checklist and questionnaire were used to measure the level of parental participation and social skills. The results show that the level of parental involvement is high, since 76% of them are at that level and only 1 in the low level and 5 parents representing 20% in the medium level, which means that parents are involved in one or more school-related activities, dedicate time to help with homework, encourage with their achievements and among others. The level of social skills in the children is regular, since 76% are at a medium level, 20% at a low level and only one child at a high level, which means that the great majority have difficulties to relate socially in a positive way and to be able to face the environment of social demands. With 95% reliability and 5% significance, p= 0.000, that the level of parental involvement is related to the level of achievement of social skills. In addition, we note that r= 0. 804 which means that there is a high positive correlation between the variables.
