Lectura de imágenes y cuentacuentos para promover hábitos de lectura en niños de 5 años en la Institución Educativa Inicial N° 179 de Yantaló-2023

Abstract

En la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo comprobar el efecto de la aplicación de la lectura de imágenes y cuentacuentos para promover los hábitos de lectura en niños de 5 años. Corresponde al enfoque cuantitativo con un tipo de investigación aplicada y un diseño cuasi experimental; la muestra estuvo conformada por 18 niños de la sección “Abejitas” (grupo experimental) y 18 niños de la sección “Loritos” (grupo control). Las técnicas utilizadas fueron análisis documental, fichaje y como instrumentos, las fichas textuales, bibliográficas y test (Pretest y postest), que permitieron evaluar a los grupos. Según los resultados del pretest el 77.78% de niños del grupo control se encuentra en inicio y el 22.22%, en proceso. En el grupo experimental, el 88.33% está en inicio y 16.67% en proceso, luego de la aplicación de la estrategia, en el postest el 72.22% está en inicio y el 27.78%, en proceso; mientras que, en el grupo experimental el 94.44% alcanzo el nivel de logro destacado y el 5.56%, el nivel en proceso; entonces, se concluye que el efecto de la aplicación de imágenes y cuentacuentos en los hábitos de lectura de niños de 5 años en la Institución Educativa Inicial N° 179 de Yantaló, Moyobamba-2023 fue positivo y significativo.

The objective of this research was to verify the effect of applying image reading and storytelling to promote reading habits in 5-year-old children. It corresponds to the quantitative approach with a type of applied research and a quasi-experimental design; The sample was made up of 18 children from the “Abejitas” section (experimental group) and 18 children from the “Loritos” section (control group). The techniques used were documentary analysis, recording and as instruments, textual and bibliographic records and tests (Pretest and posttest), which allowed the groups to be evaluated. According to the pretest results, 77.78% of the children in the control group are at the beginning and 22.22% are in process. In the experimental group, 88.33% are at the beginning and 16.67% in process, after the application of the strategy, in the post-test 72.22% are at the beginning and 27.78% in process; while in the experimental group 94.44% reached the level of outstanding achievement and 5.56% reached the process level. Therefore, it is concluded that the effect of the application of images and storytelling on the reading habits of 5-year-old children in the Initial Educational Institution No. 179 of Yantaló, Moyobamba-2023 was positive and significant.
