Abstract
The research was carried out with the purpose of determining the correlation that exists between traditional games and social skills in 4-year-old children in times of the I. E “José Encinas Franco” pandemic – Moyobamba, 2021. The approach corresponds to quantitative, with a descriptive correlational design, with a study population of 56 4-year-old children from the I. E “José Encinas Franco” – Moyobamba, 2021. To test the hypothesis, inferential statistics were used through the Student t test applied to the Pearson correlation coefficient, with a level of significance or error of α = 5% = 0.05 and a level of confidence or certainty: 1 - α = 95% = 0.95; and to be able to conclude that there is a positive relationship between traditional games and social skills in 4-year-old children in times of the I. E “José Encinas Franco” pandemic – Moyobamba, 2021. According to the results, there is a high positive correlation between traditional games and social skills, making the research hypothesis true.
