Abstract

The techniques used were documentary analysis, filing, evaluation and as instruments, academic documents, textual and bibliographical files, tests (pretest and posttest), which allowed to evaluate the groups. The result of the pretest shows that 90.0% of the children in the sample were beginning to develop their reading comprehension. However, in the posttest in the experimental group it was found that 100.0% improved their reading comprehension obtaining the expected achievement. Therefore, it is concluded that applying the fable significantly develops reading comprehension in 5-year-34old children of the Educational Institution No. 00872 Oscar Rengifo Hidalgo” – Moyobamba, 2023.
